Azizah's Story: When I Changed, Everything Changed
Azizah used to believe everyone else needed to change — her partner, her coworkers, her surroundings. Through meditation, she discovered something surprising: when she changed herself, everything around her changed too. Oh yes yeah it definitely influences but it influences not in the way where you wear it actually somebody else is changing its that it’s you that change and when you change your everything else changed it took me a minute to get that because I used to think out there needed to change it was that it was him he needs to change they need to change the outlet.
The my outer it’s a environment needs to change if I just lived here if I just had that if he just did this if she just did that but it’s not that you really literally get it and you you also are able to accept that’s the thing you accept everything as is and so.
Really why would I want to change him if I can accept him why would I want to change her if I can accept her why would I want to change the the environment if I can accept that environment as it is and once you accept as is its it’s the strangest thing how everything seems to just blend in harmony before I only saw false in others.
Now I’m able to see that those faults were my own they were my own faults and I’m able to catch that within myself and actually get rid of that it appears as if that person changed but what really happened is I change which means those conditions changed you know wow you know you nothing seems to bother you that kind of thing you know so.
I think the relationships with people now are more authentic than before oh yes oh yes because now I don’t have minds or judgments about the work or the people or the environment before when I had to do something it took a lot of time to think about it getting on to getting ready to and then the making mind about it.
Making judgments about it when those things are removed you you’re more productive that’s the beauty of it and the work isn’t isn’t anything that feels stressful or negative your your your they’re actually kind of enjoy what you’re doing you.
