About the Center
Helping San Diego Let Go
We're a guided meditation center on 30th Street in North Park — a neighborhood that gives you plenty to add to your mental load and very little help subtracting it. That's why we're here.
Your Guides
People Who've Done the Work
Every guide at this center started exactly where you are. They came in carrying their own version of the weight you're carrying now.
Most meditation asks you to sit with your thoughts. Our guides help you let them go — walking you through a structured process called Recall, Reflect, Release that permanently removes the root cause of stress rather than just observing it. Learn how the method works →

Our Story
Why We Opened on 30th Street
San Diego gives you everything — sunshine, ocean air, a pace of life that looks effortless from the outside. But living here comes with its own quiet weight. The cost of keeping up, the overstimulation of a city that never fully slows down, the gap between how good life looks and how heavy it can feel. North Park amplifies all of it — the energy of 30th Street, the density, the constant buzz.
We opened this center because we needed it ourselves. What started as a personal search for relief became a space at Suite 103 where anyone could walk in and learn to let go. We've been here ever since — holding daily guided sessions, keeping the doors open, and watching people arrive carrying everything and leave carrying less.
We still believe the same thing we believed on day one: that peace isn't something you find by adding more — more apps, more retreats, more advice. It comes from subtracting what's already weighing you down.
The Global Network
A Method Taught in 40+ Countries, Practiced Here on 30th Street
The subtraction method was founded in South Korea in 1996 by Woo Myung. It is now practiced in over 300 centers across 40+ countries. The San Diego center is part of this global network — which means the method has been refined over nearly three decades and tested across radically different cultures, languages, and contexts.
Being part of a global movement doesn't make this center abstract. The sessions happen here, with guides who live in San Diego, serving a community they know by name. The global backing gives the method credibility; the 30th Street location makes it accessible.

The Sanctuary
A Room Designed to Let You Stop
Step outside and you're on 30th Street — the foot traffic, the restaurant noise, the energy of one of San Diego's most active neighborhoods. Step inside Suite 103 and it stops. The room is quiet, simple, and designed for one thing: giving you the space to let go.
Sessions are held in chairs. No floor cushions, no special clothing, no specific body type or flexibility required. You sit down, close your eyes, and your guide walks you through the practice.
We're open until 10pm, Monday through Saturday, because stress doesn't keep business hours. Whether you come in at noon or 9:45pm, a guide is here.

Beyond seated sessions, we run something you won't find at any other meditation center in San Diego: a Meditation Run Group. An 8-mile scenic route from our 30th Street studio through Balboa Park, ending with a grounding meditation and a smoothie stop. It's meditation for people who don't think they're the meditation type.
